Rental Policies

Terms and Conditions

IN ROME & MORE rentals are for tourism, business trip of short duration up to thirty days, in accordance to the regional law. n. 33 of 5/8/98.

1 - Booking

The bookings are made by IN ROME & MORE on behalf of the house owner.
Some properties can be rented for less than a week, but all of them need a minimum of four nights.
For contracts exceeding thirty days norms will be applied as laid down by the Italian law.

2 - Number of persons

The renter should communicate the number of persons staying.
The number of persons must not exceed the number of bed spaces indicated on the web page (except for children under the age of two). Substitution of persons during the renting period is not accepted, unless there is a written agreement with IN ROME & MORE.

3 - Prices

Prices can change and they will be communicated before final booking.

4 -Payment 

To insure a booking, a client is required to fill out a form that IN ROME & MORE will send via e-mail, when completed it must be returned via fax n. 0039 06 6873336 and signed.
To guarantee your booking a deposit of 30% to 40% of the total cost is required, with credit card (VISA, MASTER CARD) plus an administrative fee of 30 euros not refundable.
From this moment your booking is guaranteed and details of the property and logistic information will be sent to you.
The balance,  will be given upon arrival cash or in advance by bank transfer, to the owner or to his/her representative.
We highly recommend you take out a travel insurance.

5 - Cancellations and penalties

Any cancellation must be notified by e-mail or via fax.
The real cancellation date is when IN ROME & MORE  reply to it.
In case of cancellation the deposit will be kept and the following penalties will be applied:
a) Recess from confirmation up to 90 to 60 days prior to arrival – loss of the initial deposit.
b) Recess from 59 to 30 days prior to arrival – loss of 50% of the entire rental
c) Recess from 29 up to arrival - 100% of the total cost of the rent.

6 - Security deposit

The security deposit is specified on the descriptive page of the property. It has to be given in cash, to the owner and will be returned on departure after checking the condition of the property. IN ROME & MORE decline any responsibility in any eventual dispute that may arise between the owner and the renter. The owner or his/her representative may refuse access to the property if the deposit is not paid on arrival.

7 - Security and liability

The owner and IN ROME & MORE are not liable for the loss of valuable articles left in the property. We recommend you control all the locks of the house. Disturbing noise and improper use of the apartment are not allowed.
The furniture arrangement should not be modified.
All the apartments present in the web site www.inromeandmore.com are properties managed by private citizens. The descriptions and photos of the apartments are current as of the moment they are put on the web site and are brought up to date when the owner notifies any changes. Any change, that have been made, will be put on the web site and notified to the client after the booking as soon as we know. If on his arrival the client notices serious inaccuracies in the description of the property, please contact IN ROME & MORE .The owner is the only one responsible for the condition and correct functioning of the apartment.

Loss of the keys will involve a cost from 50 to 150 euro that will be deducted from the security deposit.

8 - Arrivals and departures

Arrivals from 3,00pm to 7,00pm
Departures from 8,00am to 10,00 am
Any change of time or date of arrival or departure, must be notified to IN ROME & MORE .
From 8,00pm to 10,00pm there is 50 euro extra charge.

Included in the cost
the price of the rent includes:
linen with weekly change, kitchen utensils
use of electricity up to 20kw a day, (excess is 0,35 euro per Kw/h.
Central heating (when not specified in the description of the property)

9 - Cancellation by IN ROME & MORE

In case, for circumstances beyond our control, the property that you booked is no longer available, IN ROME & MORE will find an equivalent accommodation. If an agreement is not reached, the amount paid till now will be refunded.

10 - Jurisdiction

All the clauses here mentioned are subject to Italian laws.
In case of dispute, the Court of Rome will be the only competent one.

11 - Privacy

All the customer's information is strictly private and shell be used only for commercial reasons within the Company limits accordino to the Personal Data Protection Code Legislative Decree no. 196 of 30 June, 2003. None of the personal data provided such as address, phone number, etc will be granted to outsiders, and all the personal data will be secretly treated to ensure customer's privacy.

The client automatically accepts the terms and conditions by booking the property, with special reference to our terms of cancellations and declares to have read and understood the description of the apartment and his equipment and being in full agreement.
